Announcing the 2009 Open Rendering Season Content for Songbird ReMix users

Rules:

1.  Imagery must contain a visible and discernible Songbird ReMix bird product (See acceptable list of products). Imagery to be submitted may be still or animated.  Any 2D or 3D Software may be used. The size of the still imagery should be no smaller than 800 x 600 pixels and no larger than 2000 x 2000 pixels and saved in .jpg format. Animation should be 240 x 320 pixels and saved in .mov, .avi or .mpg formats.   Animation File Size: 10 meg maximum. Animation Time: between 10 - 60 seconds in duration. If you have trouble which animation compression or format, Ken can help you.  Posted entry gallery imagery will be 1024x768.  Although images may be scaled to 1024x768 for entry gallery viewing, the judges will have access to the images in the full size the artist intended for judging and winners will be posted in full size.

Work should not contain signatures, icons, title credits that may identify the artist to the judge panel. Signatures, icons, title credits will be added to the prize winners after judging if the creator wishes.

2. One still and/or one animated submission per entrant. Yes, you may enter twice by creating a still entry and an animated entry. If more than ten animated pieces are submitted, a separate prize category will be formed (one for still, one of animated)

3. Image may contain nudity, however, remember judging will be partially focusing on the use of the Songbird ReMix package. The winning entries will be selected by a Judging Panel - The Panel's decision is final. Judges will perform independent reviews of the submissions. The Judges (and Ken) may not submit entries.

4. The finished products must be solely the creation by the entrant . All artists agree, by entering this contest, to allow Ken Gilliland to use their entries to promote future contests held and to display the result of this contest. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder of their entry images. Image and animation will not be used for any commercial purpose without the express written consent of the artist.

5. Entries will be accepted after January 2, 2009. All entries must submitted by March 1st, 2009, 11:59pm PST. Any entries submitted after that date will not be considered. Award winners will be announced March 15th. Prize Winners must supply their real names, email addresses, and mailing addresses for prize distribution. Monetary amount of "Shopping Spree" can only be used at the Songbird ReMix Merchandise Store.  Unused amounts of "Shopping Spree" prize are considered non-redeemable.
