Songbird ReMix Amazon & Vultures on the Horizon

After doing several model heavy projects (Toucans & Motherhood), I've found that I'm stalling a little on Vultures which again requires another new model.  In order to revitalize my artistic drive, I'm jumping to a project that interests me, Birds of the Amazon. I hope to work on both through the summer with my intention to get one of the two out by the end of July and the other by August or September.

In the meantime, I have authorized another bundle set.  This bundle will have "Characters", "Woodpeckers", "Cool & Unusual2" and "Perching Places" in it, selling at $49.95

The "Update" on Updates

The first 10 updated volumes of the Songbird ReMix series are supposedly in the DAZ download ques.  I haven't personally seen this, but DAZ has assured me they are. Please let me know if this is not the case.

Bird Library Now in WIKI format

Hopefully, some of you will find this useful... I've developed a wiki that has every Songbird ReMix bird ever created. Each bird is categorized by species and region and each entry has an image (with no post work), a full description and what package it's available on.

take a look at the: Bird Library in Wiki Format

It's very simple to use.... let's say you're looking for a bird to add to an Incan temple render-- Page down to the "Mexico, Central America & Caribbean" and "South America" sections and you'll find dozens of possibilities....

Eventually I'll add tutorials, more environmental information and maybe an art gallery for users.

OBSTRUCTIONISTS BLOCK GLOBAL WARMING BILL
But Majority Show Support

The Senate global warming debate ended on June 6, 2008 with a 48-36 vote against evoking cloture on a bill to curb heat-trapping greenhouse gas emissions. While obstructionists won the day, the number of votes in favor of passing global warming legislation in the Senate reached a new high and set the stage for victory in the next Congress.

Six senators who were not able to attend the vote issued statements expressing support. Thus a total of 54 senators, a solid majority, showed support.

Audubon members and activists played a big role in increasing momentum for passing global warming legislation by calling and writing senators during the critical days prior to the vote. In Audubon’s official statement on the vote, Senior Vice President Betsy Loyless expresses optimism that the groundwork has been laid for victory.
