Changes Background: After creating "Songbird ReMix Africa", I felt that the Songbird ReMix series had finally panned out. Sales were sluggish and I had done about every bird I could with the existing morphs. It was in the spring of 2006 that I received a request to create a Kookaburra which, in turn, revived the series with Songbird Remix 2 "Second Edition". When I created Songbird Remix 2, I got the idea for conforming crests as a way to extend to life and versatility of the SBRM model. What I didn't realize is how much confusion the Songbird Remix2 addition would cause. First, in naming it, I chose the name Songbird Remix2" because in many ways it was a new beginning for the series. It unfortunately almost gave the impression it was a required upgrade, which it wasn't. In addition, when I created the "K", "F", "C" etc crests I had no idea I'll creating more than 5-6 crests. Now there's more than 20-- and that doesn't account for the tails!
With updating the older volumes and creating a new addition, "Pet Shop", I realized the Alphabet system was going be an issue and I had to create something that was expandable; hence the C01, C04, C21 etc system. The existing Alphabet Crests and Tails were folded into the new system and given new icons (as well as their MAT/MOR counterparts). Conforming Crest Changes:
