Glenn Waggner "In Other Worlds" My paintings incorporate architectural elements and landscapes that are the not of this world. Imaginary, atmospheric, surreal and sometimes humorous scenes are depicted to convey an alternate universe. My passion for architecture and intense color deeply influence my work. From my sketchbook to the finished painting, I am always inventing and creating new images. With the incredible noise of our culture filled with cell phones, television and advertisements, I try to shut out the bombardment on the senses and create peaceful, quiet paintings. |
