LaNelle
Mason This exhibition is
a gathering of random bits and pieces with a thematic
arrangement in mind: relationships, religion, politics, and
life observations. These themes are based from obvious and
traditional symbols: heart shapes for love, crosses
represent religion, American Hags and peace signs are used
for political references. Words, quotes and/or sayings are
often added to give title and direction to the work. Most of
these creations are set in a box or a framed shadow box.
This box not only presents and secures the artwork, but also
creates a stage and a window for the viewer. Enjoy! Diana
Goothartz In creating my art
the time element is not so important, but the journey of my
fantasy is a means to my fulfillment. The subject has a
tendency to dictate the process of what I intend to create. |
